Parent Influencers

In the past decade or so, social media has become a platform for people to share their lives and connect with other like-minded individuals. With the rise of influencers and content creators, it's not uncommon to see people sharing pictures and videos of their kids and pets to share with the world.
While sharing these moments can be cute and entertaining, some people take it too far. Using kids or pets solely for the purpose of getting views is a problematic trend that needs to be addressed. When parents or pet owners use their children or animals as content for views, they are potentially exploiting them for their own benefit. They may take advantage of the natural cuteness or playfulness of their kids or pets to gain more attention and engagement on their posts. This behavior not only puts the child or pet in a position where they are being used as a prop, but it can also lead to the overexposure of their personal lives. Children and pets may not have the ability to understand the potential consequences of their images being shared online, which can lead to a lack of privacy and control over their own lives.
Furthermore, using kids or pets for views can also perpetuate harmful stereotypes and practices. For example, portraying a child as perfect and flawless can create unrealistic expectations for other parents and their children. Similarly, dressing up pets in costumes and using them as accessories can encourage the belief that animals are objects rather than living beings.
It's important for people to consider the impact that their posts can have on the children and pets in their lives. Instead of using them as props for views, they should prioritize their well-being and only share content that they are comfortable with. By being mindful of the impact of their actions, individuals can create a more respectful and responsible online community.
In conclusion, using kids or pets solely for the purpose of getting views is a concerning trend that can have negative consequences for everyone involved. By prioritizing the well-being and privacy of their loved ones, content creators can create a positive and respectful online community where everyone can feel safe and valued.
